MORGAN Search and rescue teams have recovered the body of an Ogden man who disappeared from a campsite.
Just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, divers found the body of James Campion, 59, in the Weber River.
"He was approximately a mile from where he came up missing," said Morgan County Sheriff's Sgt. Nikkole Malan. She said divers from the Weber County Search and Rescue team found Campion's body.
On Sunday, friends reported seeing Campion near a campfire just before they went to bed. They were awakened by Campion's barking dog on Sunday but he was nowhere to be found. Search efforts were hampered for the past few days by rising and swift-moving waters.
