Young women across the state have a chance to compete for Miss Rodeo Utah.
The winner, who will be announced July 24 after a weeklong pageant that runs in conjunction with Ogden Pioneer Days, will make appearances and participate in other events and rodeos throughout Utah.
She also will represent Utah at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant held each year in Las Vegas during the Wrangler National Rodeo Finals.
All participants must be residents of Utah between the ages of 19 and 25. Applications are available at the Ogden Pioneer Days office, 1810 Washington Blvd., Ogden.

The deadline for all applications is June 2. The contest will be July 19-24.
