'Da Vinci' events

Local events scheduled to discuss "The Da Vinci Code" include:

June 1 at 7 p.m. in the Salt Lake City public library, fourth floor, a public forum featuring Ron Huggins of Salt Lake Theological Seminary titled, "Examining the Da Vinci Code."

June 9 at 7 p.m. at Mount Olympus Presbyterian Church, 3280 E. 3900 South, a "Da Vinci Code Dialogue," featuring Huggins, as well as Dan John of Juan Diego Catholic High School and the Rev. Jennifer Hare-Diggs, United Methodist minister.

June 19, 26, July 10 and 17, 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Salt Lake Theological Seminary, 699 E. South Temple, a class (fee-based) by Huggins titled "Jesus, Mary, and . . . Da Vinci? The Historical Christ or the Jesus of Popular Imagination."
