The Wayne Brown Institute announced that venture capital and entrepreneurship experts Mark Carman of Stoel Rives, Tony Howells of Olympus Angel Investors and Will West of Control4 will be the featured presenters at its upcoming "How to Raise Money in Utah" seminar, held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Business Innovation Center at Salt Lake Community College, 9740 S. 300 West.
Topics will include fund-raising basics, when and how to involve service professionals and how to successfully attract venture capital. A question-and-answer period will follow the presentations.
