Americans have become more united in honoring our soldiers who serve our country and protect our freedom. It is time that we show that same support and appreciation for those brave men and women who daily put their lives on the line to ensure our safety.
May 14 to 21 is National Law Enforcement Week. A thank-you note, a personal word of appreciation or something along those lines would take just a few moments but speak volumes to these brave officers. Parents should also take the time to teach their children respect for all in law enforcement. Let's let them know we appreciate their bravery, dedication and service.
