BASEBALL: The University of Utah baseball team salvaged its trip to Texas Christian University Sunday afternoon. The Utes avoided being swept by the Horned Frogs, picking up a 6-3 win at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas.
Utah (23-22, 6-10 MWC) got a solid pitching performance from Lucas Trinnaman and Brad DeVore in the victory. Trinnaman (2-3) worked seven innings and scattered nine hits and three runs to take the victory. DeVore pitched the final two innings and allowed just one baserunner to pick up his sixth save.
