Plan-B Theatre Company has announced a new partnership with the Utah Conservatory of Performing Arts beginning in June.
According to Jerry Rapier, Plan-B's producing artistic director, and Colleen Lewis of the conservatory, the partnership will expand Plan-B's community-outreach program by providing students the opportunity to work with a variety of professional actors and directors, as well as training in the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, where Plan-B is a resident company.
The conservatory, currently based in Cottonwood Heights, will be moving to the Rose Wagner Center. Summer classes will include creative drama for ages 5-7, preteen acting for ages 8-12 and teen acting for ages 12-16. Directors and instructors include Kyle and Colleen Lewis and Kirt Bateman.
