Notes: Signed with BYU in 2004 prior to serving a mission to Milwaukee . . . Led Mountain View High School to a 13-6 record as a junior and senior . . . Was a SuperPrep and Prep Star all-America selection and earned Gatorade All-America honors. . . . Won the Strongest Arm Award at the BYU football camp twice . . . Brothers Ricky and Danny played basketball at BYU . . . Recruited by Oregon State, Cal, Arizona State, USC, Purdue, Wisconsin, Washington State, Texas Tech, Boise State and Utah in football and Texas Tech, North Carolina, Kansas, Wake Forest, Purdue, Utah and Washington State in basketball.

Also rushed for 344 yards on 54 carries with four more TDs . . . Was named the Arizona Republic's all-Arizona quarterback and the East Valley Tribune state offensive player of the year in 5A . . .
