Utahns can leave more than letters in their mailbox on May 13.
Letter carriers across the state will be gathering donated food items that day for the annual Stamp Out Hunger/Letter Carriers Food Drive. All next week, carriers will leave fliers and plastic bags in residential mailboxes.
Utahns are encouraged to fill the bags with nonperishable food items and leave them in or around their mailboxes for pick up on May 13.
