The Utah Board of Tourism Development will have its May meeting in St. George on Friday.
The meeting will be at 10 a.m. at the Courtyard Marriott, Bryce Canyon Room, 185 S. 1470 East. The meeting is open to the public.
The board will discuss a strategic marketing plan and the Utah Office of Tourism's cooperative marketing program. The 13-member board oversees the state's Tourism Marketing Performance Fund and consists of tourism industry partners from different jurisdictions from around the state. The southwest portion of the state is represented by Mona Given, the chief financial officer and public relations officer for the Huntsman World Senior Games.
