Speed-pitching lunch at Thanksgiving Point

FundingUtah.com has announced that its next speed-pitching luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. May 9 at Thanksgiving Point.

The company is accepting applications from entrepreneurs and accredited investors to participate in the event. Only 10 entrepreneurs will be selected because of time and space limitations.

The luncheon provides a way for entrepreneurs to present business ideas to several groups of accredited angel investors at one time. Each entrepreneur has five minutes to present a business plan to a group of three to five angel investors. After they have presented the idea, entrepreneurs rotate to meet with and present to a new group of investors.

The event is free for investors. The cost is $500 for entrepreneurs, with a $100 discount for early registration. The luncheon is free to one presenting representative. Each additional presenting representative will be charged $25.
