The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray, the Utah Department of Health's Arthritis Program and the Arthritis Foundation of Utah are teaming up for a series of classes on osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis affects more than 20 million Americans.
The classes will each include a physician, a physical therapist and a nutritionist to talk about the disease, treatment options and local resources. All classes will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at TOSH, 5848 S. Fashion Blvd. (300 East) in Murray.
Monday, May 1, the class focuses on arthritis of the knee. Tuesday, May 2, focus is arthritis of the hand. Wednesday, May 3, it's arthritis of the hip. The series concludes Thursday, May 4, with arthritis of the foot and ankle.
