11 unprofessional conduct
6 sexual misconduct
5 drugs
6 computer porn/inappropriate sites
2 misuse school funds
2 sexual harassment
Sex solicitation
Inappropriate contact with students/misuse of a driver's ed vehicle
Excessive force against students
Sexual relationship with a student (8 years prior to revocation)
Disorderly conduct
How do teachers get their licenses back?
Requirements following a sex offense:
Psychosexual evaluation
Criminal background check
Evidence of counseling, including counselors' letters and testimony
Reinstatement hearing before panel of Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission (UPPAC) members and hearing officer/attorney
Written findings go to UPPAC for denial, approval or modification
