EAGLE MOUNTAIN — The city's planning director, Adam Lenhard, announced at Tuesday's City Council meeting that he will resign his position, effective May 1.

The announcement was one of several regarding staff changes made Tuesday night. Lenhard said he is resigning because he accepted a job offer at a different location.

Mayor Brian Olsen also announced a decision to hire Michael Wren, the city's original engineer, as his chief of staff and public works director. Olsen did away with the city manager position, which was previously held by Chris Hillman. Mark Sovine, the current public works director, announced his early retirement on April 11.
