WCF to defend itself in suit filed in Utah by Working Rx

Salt Lake-based Workers Compensation Fund said Tuesday it will defend itself against a lawsuit filed in Utah district court by Working Rx, a Delaware corporation.

Working Rx is seeking damages of about $4 million for prescription charges allegedly underpaid by WCF on behalf of its policyholders' employees.

But WCF said Tuesday that Working Rx has been "appropriately paid" for those prescriptions.
