The governor prides himself on his "regular-guy" lifestyle. He rides motocross with a teenage son and likes to eat at run-of-the-mill restaurants, including taking his staff out to lunch at a roadside taco stand in front of the Sears on State Street.
Gov. Huntsman says he regularly books coach while flying commercial on state business. While previous Utah governors routinely asked for upgrades to first class and regularly got them Huntsman says he has not asked for first class upgrades and hasn't accepted them.
Huntsman Sr., listed as a billionaire by Forbes magazine, is a lay leader, an area authority Seventy, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
