Timpanogos bulldozes Bruins
While the Timberwolves did most of the offensive damage in one inning, Mountain View only managed to get four batters on base all afternoon two on walks and two on infield errors.
"(Bramwell) is the kind of pitcher where you have a great deal of confidence when you're calling those pitches," said Timpanogos coach Frank Bramall. "She's the most amazing pitcher I've ever coached and the reason is she is just dead on. You call a spot and she's there."
The T-Wolves jumped out from the top of the first inning and put the Bruins back against the wall early.
Bramwell led off and was walked and, two batters later, Chelsea Brown hit an RBI single for the game's first run.
Rachel Hecker was next at bat and hit a deep double to right field that brought Brown in, and Tajia Law hit an RBI single to third base to make the score 3-0 before the Bruins could get the third out.
Bramall attributed his team's quick start to its preparation leading up to the game.
"They brought their bats," said Bramall. "They had three great practices, some of the best I've ever seen. For some reason they were just in it. When they came today they brought the intensity from those three practices and just stepped up there ready to hit."

Another insurance run came in the third inning when Jen Harris doubled, stole third base, and then came home on an RBI single by Kelsey Belliston.
The final score was in the seventh inning when Bramwell scored again on a double by Hecker.
Mountain View's only threat to score was in the third inning when Meisha Loveless and Meghan Goodman caught the defense off balance with consecutive bunts, and got on base thanks to errors. With runners on first and second, however, Bramwell struck out two of the next three batters to retire the side.
