A Hollywood classic and an Easter tradition is coming to West Valley City for three free screenings during April.
Cecil B. DeMille's "The Ten Commandments," starring Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner, will be screened April 1, April 8 and April 15 at 1 p.m. at The Hollywood Connection, 3217 S. Decker Lake Drive.
The screenings are in conjunction with the Utah Cultural Celebration Center's exhibit of artist Arnold Friberg's paintings for "The Ten Commandments," which runs through May 26 at the center, 1355 W. 3100 South.
Anyone who buys a ticket for the exhibit will receive a free ticket to a movie screening. Admission to the screenings will cost $4.75 for those who do not attend the exhibit.
Tickets to the exhibit are $5 for visitors 13 and older. Guests 12 or younger get in free.
Tickets are available at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, the E Center or through Smith'sTix. They are sold for specific times, at half-hour increments during gallery hours.
