OREM Greg Warnock, a leading private equity investor in Utah, will speak at Utah Valley State College today at noon in the Ragan Theater in the Sorensen Student Center.
Warnock is director of Partner Fund One at vSpring Capital, a Salt Lake City investment company, and is founder and member of several other successful businesses in the state. He will speak about the new Utah Student Venture Fund, supported by the Governor's Office of Economic Development. The fund provides students with hands-on experience in venture capital, private equity and entrepreneurship.
Warnock has more than 25 years in the private investment industry. He founded Junto Partners, another local training, networking and mentoring program for students and younger entrepreneurs. Warnock is one of a few select judges for Utah's Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and he regularly appears as a member of the venture capital committee for the Investors' Choice West conference.
