Greg Warnock will speak at UVSC at noon in the Ragan Theater in the Sorensen Student Center on the new Utah student venture fund that provides students hands-on experience in venture capital, private equity and entrepreneurship. Call 893-8859.

Friday, March 31

• BYU-Idaho President Kim B. Clark will speak at 10 a.m. in the Ragan Theater, Sorensen Student Center, UVSC Orem campus. His address will be a memorial to Kirk Englehardt, a scholar of business and ethics. Free.

Saturday, April 1

• Community dance at the Orem Senior Friendship Center, 45 N. 400 East at 8 p.m. Dance to a live band. For ages 18 and older. Cost: $5.

Monday, April 3

• Utah County Republican Women meet at noon, Provo City Library at Academy Square, 550 N. University Ave. Sen. John Valentine, president of the Utah Senate, and state senators Howard Stephenson, Mark Madsen, Parlely Hellewell, and Curtis Bramble will be special guests. The public is invited, and a light lunch will be served.

• "Shrek 2" at 6:30 p.m. for movie night at Tahitian Noni's International Visitors Center, 333, W. River Park Drive, Provo. Free.

• BYU will host the International Society's 17th annual conference, "International Challenges Facing the Church," from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Harold B. Lee Library auditorium, Provo campus, on the first floor. Free.

BYU's annual Family Expo Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the BYU Conference Center, Provo campus. The event's theme, "By Small and Simple Things Are Great Things Brought to Pass." Mirta Roses, director of the Pan American Health Organization, will speak at 11 a.m. in the Varsity Theater. Roses will discuss "The State of Health in the Western Hemisphere: The Strategic View from the Pan American Health Organization." Free.
