For the first time, Westminster College is ranked in The Princeton Review's "America's Best Value Colleges: 2007."
In addition, Utah's other private school, Brigham Young University, ranked No. 1 as the best-priced private school, according to a press release from Westminster College.
Both schools are featured in the 2007 edition of "America's Best Value Colleges," which goes on sale today. The rankings are based on 30 factors, which include academics, tuition, financial aid and student borrowing. The guidebook ranks more than 4,500 schools nationwide.
Westminster is ranked in the top 150 schools. President Michael Bassis said school officials are pleased their hard work and commitment to students is reflected in the ranking.
"As Utah's only private, liberal arts college, we hope to continue to be a unique point of pride for the state of Utah as our national reputation continues to grow."
