Germany-based Fresenius Medical Care AG announced an expansion of its Ogden production facility.
The expansion will increase capacity from 27 million to more than 33 million dialysis filters, or dialyzers, annually.
The expansion is expected to be completed during the first half of 2007.
The company's North American operations include treatment therapy through its UltraCare program, which employs single-use dialyzers as the preferred method of care for about 90,000 patients in more than 1,150 clinics.
