This collection of kids DVDs, all due to hit shelves on Tuesday, leads off with a charming pair of "Peanuts" features.

"A Boy Named Charlie Brown" (CBS/Paramount, 1969, G, $14.99).

"Snoopy, Come Home" (CBS/Paramount, 1972, G, $14.99). These were the first two "Peanuts" movies, and both are winning adaptations of the comic strip's themes, each with a bevy of clever visual gags. Great fun, with the former focusing on hapless Charlie Brown and his friends, and the latter a vehicle for the free-spirited Snoopy.

Extras: Widescreen, optional English subtitles, chapters.

"The Easter Bunny Is Comin' to Town" (Warner, 1977, not rated, $14.96). This cute vintage stop-motion TV special (narrated by Fred Astaire, whose animated likeness is a train engineer) is set in Kidsville, where small fry run the place. But something sinister is afoot in a neighboring town where there are no children. There's also a mean old bear. So the Easter Bunny and Kidsville residents ply them with dyed eggs and jelly beans.

Extras: Full frame, language options (English, Spanish), subtitle options (English, French, Spanish), chapters.

"Little House on the Prairie" (Disney, 2004, not rated, $29.99, two discs). So-so miniseries remake of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books strives to be a bit more faithful but lacks the charm and warmth of the 1970s series and suffers from the attention-deficit camera style of too many modern films.

Extras: Widescreen, trailers, chapters.

"The Wind in the Willows: A Tale of Two Toads" (A&E, 1989, not rated, $19.95). Sweet, gentle British stop-motion animated feature (or perhaps "featurette," as it's a scant 55 minutes), a follow-up to the "Wind in the Willows" series made for English television. Here, Toad is imprisoned in the cellar of Toad Hall while an impersonator takes his place, as the weasels plot to take care of Badger, Rat and Mole before they realize what has happened.

Extras: Full frame, bonus episode "Paperchase" from the third season, text character descriptions.

"Godzilla: The Series: Monster Mayhem" (Sony, 1998, not rated, $9.98).
