Wasatch Community Gardens is taking reservations for two workshops "The Soul of Soil" at 10 a.m. on April 1, and "Drip Irrigation" at 10 a.m. on April 8. Both are scheduled at the Grateful Tomato Garden, 600 E. 800 South. Call 359-2658 for reservations.
A water-wise gardening series is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on alternating Saturdays at the Anderson-Foothill Branch of the Salt Lake City Library, 1135 S. 2100 East. The Utah Orchid Society will hold a show at Red Butte Garden from 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. on April 1, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on April 2. Regular garden admission applies.
