Cheerleader's suit frivolous

To the former Alta High School cheerleader who injured herself while practicing: I am very sorry your ankles were broken. But I really can't see how it is Jordan School District's fault. The district didn't run in and pull the mats apart while she was in the air. She chose to cheerlead. She should have evaluated the equipment and environment for her own safety. Maybe she should really sue the district for not providing her with an adequate education so she could assess such situations.

Frivolous suits like this are one reason extracurricular activities get cut.
