Ellen Wallace — "Our teachers right now don't think we're a teacher-centered board when we won't even reconsider."

Sherril Taylor — "People are planning their lives and moving ahead. Any wavering by the board would send a message that we don't know what we're doing."

J. Dale Christensen — "I'm confident we're going in the right direction. I feel very good about it."

Randy Brinkerhoff — "We need to be united as a board. I'm suppressing my own emotions because of that."

Peggy Jo Kennett — "We've made a decision. We're going to stick with it."

Lynette Phillips — "We did what we felt we needed to do as a district. I don't think we have any room to waffle on a decision that we've made. There's no one who voted on this that felt any joy or happiness."
