John Wesley Powell River History Museum (885 E. Main, Green River, 435-564-3427) — Original paintings, sculpture and prints by Brady Fairbanks, Richard Miles, Lori Nicholas, Kay Affleck, Dan Blanton, Carel Brest van Kempen, Ken England, Jean Gasser, Becky Hartvigsen, Jo Baxter, Anton Rasmussen, Gary Prazen and Joseph S. Venus, through 2006.

Julie Nester Gallery (1755 B Bonanza Drive, Park City, 435-649-7855) — Recent work by Donna Mintz through March 26.

Kimball Art Center (638 Park Ave., Park City, 435-649-8882) — Main gallery: "Ski and Snow Country," featuring more than 40 photographs from the 1930s-50s by Ray Atkeson, through today.

Meyer Gallery (305 Main Street, Park City, 435-649-8160) — Mixed media work by Cary Henrie.

Museum of Art (Brigham Young University, North Campus Drive, Provo, 378-2787) — "American Dreams," featuring 115 pieces of art from the Museum's Permanent Collection — including prints, sculpture, photography and painting — will be on display for five years (rotating 214 total works). Also "Photographing Silence: Juan Rulfo's Mexico," featuring 62 black and white photographs by the Mexican writer Juan Rulfo (1917-86), through May 29. Also "Nostalgia and Technology: Embracing the New Through Art and Design," featuring art representing a selection of domestic technologies, through May 13.

Museum of the San Rafael (64 N. 100 East, Castle Dale, 435-381-5252) — "Prehistoric Wildlife and Western Art of Utah," featuring paintings by Joseph S. Venus, Clifford Oviatt and sculptures by Gary Prazen and Eldon Holmes, through 2006.

Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (650 N. 1100 East, Logan, 435-797-0163) — "Semina Culture: Wallace Berman & His Circle," featuring more than 50 of Berman's photographs along with short films, publications, documents and artworks by 48 of Berman's Semina associates, through March 15. Also "AquaGenesis," featuring ceramic art by Maryann Webster, through May 1. Also "Sight and Sound: A Visual Metaphor," featuring a selection of paintings and sculpture from the museum's permanent collection. Included in the exhibit is music from 20th century composers. The exhibit runs through July 2007.

Sears Art Gallery (Eccles Fine Arts Center, Dixie State College) — The 19th Annual Robert N. and Peggy Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show and Sale, featuring 175 works from 92 artists, through March 22.
