Women's Art Center (345 Pierpont, 205-0310) — "Impermanence," featuring new large works by Holly Mae Pendergast.

Apple Frame Gallery (70 N. Main, Bountiful, 298-1227) — "Painting Large," showcases more than 25 large format works by 13 artists through March 22.

Beverly Mastrim Gallery (6351 S. 900 East, Wheeler Farm, 264-2212) — Nature paintings by Clark Ostergaard through March.

B.F. Larsen Gallery (Harris Fine Arts Center, BYU) — BFA Final Show of Joshua Smith through March 14.

College of Eastern Utah, Prehistoric Museum Art Gallery (155 E. Main, Price) — "Fossilized Forests," featuring tree fossils, through March 31.

Datura Gallery (845 N. Coyote Gulch Court, Ivins, 435-674-9595) — Art by Laurie Burns, Cheryl, Gary and John Collin, Elva Malin, Holy Holly Pendergast, Melodie Williams, Roland Lee and more.

Eccles Community Art Center (2580 Jefferson Ave., Ogden, 392-6935) — Main galleries: "10th Black & White Statewide Competition," featuring works in black and white and gray by Utah artists in all media. Carriage House Gallery: Paintings by Ogden artist Ilona R. Fellows. Both exhibits run through March 25.

Edelweiss Gallery (65 E. Main, Midway, 435-654-1335) — Featured artist Sherry Oman. Also work by Florence Ware, Donald Allan, Kory Bird and Dennis Smith.

Freedom Gallery (225 W. Center, Provo) — Artwork by Robert T. Barrett through March.

Gallery at the Station (Union Station, 2501 Wall Ave., Ogden, 629-8446) — Group Invitational Exhibit, featuring work by 22 artists working along the Wasatch Front, through April 4. Artists reception Friday, from 6-8 p.m.

Hill Gallery & Sculpture Park (9045 S. 1300 East, Sandy, 562-9242) — Art by Jeanne Bonine, Bob Coonts, Dan L. Hill, Kathleen Hunt, Dahrl Thomson and more.
