Salt Lake Art Center* (20 S. West Temple) Street Level Gallery: "Sophie Matisse: Be Back in 5 Minutes and Zebra Stripe Paintings" through May 6. Main Gallery: "Robert Motherwell Te Quiero," featuring paintings and drawings from 1950's through the '80s by Motherwell (1915-91), the youngest and most prolific member of the New York school of Abstract Expressionism. Also "Deference to Deffebach," featuring Deffebach's (1928-2005) large abstract paintings. Both exhibits run through May 31.
