A teenager who was hit by a van while crossing a street two weeks ago died at the hospital Saturday.
Killed was:
Sebastian B. Osman, 16.
Osman crossed in front of a UTA bus that was stopped near 700 South and 1300 East. He was hit by a van in the next lane whose driver likely did not see him. Police say Osman was crossing in a marked crosswalk. He was flown to the hospital with severe head injuries.
A fund has been set up in his name at the Bank of Utah to help his family cover funeral expenses. A funeral will be held at noon on Saturday at the Yale Ward Building, 1431 E. Gilmer Drive in Salt Lake City.
