The public is invited to an open house Thursday to review plans for the Legacy Parkway. The open house will be from 4 to 8 p.m. in building No. 2 at the Davis County Fairgrounds, 151 S. 1100 West.

Since last November, the Utah Department of Transportation and a team of engineers have been working on plans for the 14-mile, limited-access highway. Those plans call for a nature observation area and several adjoining trails for pedestrians, bicyclists and equestrians.

Construction of the road is anticipated to begin in March and end in late 2008.
