JUNIOR GOLF SIGN-UPS: The Utah Junior Golf Association will tee off its 22nd season on Saturday, March 4 with its 2006 sign-up and registration meetings from 1-4 p.m. at The Zion's Bank/Utah Jazz Basketball Center in Salt Lake City and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Arts and Leisure Center in St. George. The Zion's Bank practice facility is located at 1404 S. 500 West . The Arts & Leisure Center is located at 86 S. Main St. in St. George. Boys and girls ages 8-18 of all skill levels are invited to sign up for UJGA tournaments.

OWLZ ON THE AIR: The Orem Owlz have reached an agreement with Salt Lake City-based Simmons Media to have 960AM "The Zone" be the new flagship station for Owlz broadcasts. Award-winning broadcaster Brandon Gaudin will call all the action of the 2006 season and will serve as the team's director of broadcasting and media relations. The Owlz will call KOVO 960AM home for all home and road games in 2006, with three games against in-state rival Ogden being simulcast on Salt Lake City-based KZNS 1280AM.
