PLEASANT GROVE Pleasant Grove's City Council tapped two residents to serve in community leadership positions.
The Pleasant Grove City Council appointed former Councilman Jeff Wilson to the Tri-City Golf Course Committee on Tuesday night.
The Tri-City course, 400 North and 200 East, American Fork, is a joint venture of Pleasant Grove, American Fork and Lehi.
Wilson narrowly lost his bid for re-election in November by 147 votes.
He then applied for the council seat left vacant by Mayor Mike Daniels. The council chose resident Bruce Call on a 3-1 vote.
Resident Deanne Taylor, who also unsuccessfully applied for the council seat and recently finished her work as chairwoman of the city's Regional/Urban Design Assistance Team, was appointed neighborhood chairwoman for the Big Springs neighborhood.
