Public invited to view 2002 Games items

The Division of State History/Utah State Historical Society will be conducting special "back-room" tours of its 2002 Winter Olympic Games Collection today and Friday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m.

The public is invited. Tourgoers will see artifacts such as pins, uniforms, signage, mascot items, a torch and other memorabilia from the Olympic Winter Games held in Utah.

They will also have the opportunity to view other artifacts in the Utah State Historical Society collection, items that will be on exhibit to the general public for the first time.

Tour sizes are limited, and reservations are required. For reservations call 533-3550.
