OREM SCERA will announce a title sponsor of the 750-seat Grand Theater on Thursday at 10 a.m.
Utah Lt. Gov. Gary Herbert, Orem Mayor Jerry Washburn and SCERA Board Chairman Ben Gould will all speak at the event, held at 745 S. State.
SCERA, a 72-year-old nonprofit charitable organization, will reveal plans for the future development of the theater.
The organization is always seeking grants and donations and the five-year corporate sponsorship will be a great financial boost, said Adam Robertson, CEO of SCERA.
"This will certainly be another very key element," he said. "It's one more step in the right direction to where we're going."
