The BYU Museum of Art, North Campus Drive, Provo, will host a lecture by Kristin Matthews Thursday evening at 7. In her lecture, "Mutants, Delinquents, and Spies, Oh, My! Atomic Anxiety in American Film," Matthews will discuss various film genres and how atomic anxiety affected America. The event is free and open to the public.

The St. George Art Museum will have a Thursday Conversation feature artist Anne Munoz on Thursday evening at 7. Munoz will discuss her art and batik process she employs. The conversations are free and open to the public. For more information, call 435-634-5942 or E-mail museum@sgcity.org.

The Utah Watercolor Society announces a call for entries for its Spring Open Show. The juried exhibit will be at the Iron Horse Gallery, Park City, from May 1-31. The Kimball Art Center announces a call for entries for the Kimball Art Auction, to be held Thursday, Aug. 3. The exhibition and auction are open to all artists working in the following mediums: ceramics, drawing, glass, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
