Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant in Midway is offering a special three-course valentine meal Feb. 14, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. The fixed, three-course menu includes a choice of entrees: applewood Moulard duck, dry-aged beef tenderloin, gulf prawns or coffee-roasted lamb.
Appetizer choices include butter-poached lobster in pastry or seared foie gras. Dessert choices include chocolate hearts served with berries, passion fruit creme br$lee or assorted truffles. Cost is $150 per couple. (888-650-1400)Little America is offering a getaway package of one night in one of Little America's Tower rooms and a $60 dining credit for the hotel's restaurants. The rate is $179 for Friday or Saturday, or $229 Sunday through Feb. 16.
Zupas, a fast-casual restaurant with locations in Draper and Provo, has launched an interactive Web site for customers. Customers can vote online for the weekly specials or post blogs for their favorite foods and travel experiences. They can also share favorite recipes and possibly have them incorporated into the menu.
The restaurant currently serves 12 specialty salads, homemade soups and 10 grilled panini sandwiches (www.zupas.com).
