A trio of companies on Monday announced they plan to build an oil pipeline from eastern Utah to Woods Cross.
Holly Corp., Holly Energy Partners and Enbridge Energy Company Inc. said the proposed construction of the 16-inch-diameter underground pipeline will be the topic of a pair of informational open-house meetings.
Both are from 7 to 9 p.m. The first will be Wednesday in the Coalville City Council meeting room, 10 N. Main, Coalville. The second will be Thursday in Building No. 1 at the Davis County Fair Park in Farmington.
The pipeline would carry crude oil from an interconnection with Frontier Pipeline near the Wyoming border to Holly's Woods Cross refinery, with connections to other local refineries. It will pass through Summit, Morgan and Davis counties.
