How he got there: One of the more accomplished coaches in NFL history started building up his resume in Provo under legendary BYU coach LaVell Edwards. There, Holmgren worked with Steve Young and Robbie Bosco during the Cougars' glory years before going on to coach NFL greats Joe Montana and Young with the 49ers and Brett Favre with the Packers. A three-time Super Bowl winner, Holmgren is now back in the big game with Matt Hasselbeck and Seattle. Before joining the Seahawks organization, Holmgren coached the Packers to a .670 regular-season winning percentage, six consecutive postseason appearances, two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl victory. He won two Super Bowl rings with the 49ers before taking his first NFL head coaching job.
