• Gary Earnest Smith is the subject of an article in the February issue of "American Art Collector." The artist currently has a show at the Overland Gallery of Fine Art, Scottsdale, Ariz.

• Art Access, 339 W. Pierpont, will complete its series of Workshops for Adults with Marcee Blackerby on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.. Blackerby will teach "Mixed-Media Boxes." • The University of Utah College of Architecture and Planning will host guest lecturer, architect John Kaliski, on Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the college's building, Room 217.
