Doctors are keeping President Gordon B. Hinckley of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the hospital as he continues to recover from his recent surgery.
Church spokesman Dale Bills said physicians working with President Hinckley say his progress is good and it is anticipated that he will be released from the hospital soon. No specific date was released.
President Hinckley, 95, has remained at LDS Hospital since a cancerous growth in his large intestine was removed in surgery Jan. 24.
Church officials anticipate that President Hinckley will resume his normal duties after his recovery.
