WASHINGTON TERRACE Members of the Weber-Morgan Narcotics Strike Force served a search warrant this past week, seizing stolen property and drugs.
Weber County Sheriff's deputies arrested two brothers, ages 20 and 17, on investigation of drug and theft offenses.
Lt. Philip Howell said officers recovered tools, firearms, electronics and personal quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana. Police believe the pair had been breaking into homes and stealing items from construction sites to support a drug habit.
Howell said they were part of a series of arrests recently made by Weber County authorities.
"They were very busy and very prolific," he said of the number of break-ins and thefts. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is reviewing evidence for possible federal charges, Howell said.
