The Utah Watercolor Society will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday evening at Wheeler Historic Farm, 6351 S. 900 East. Guest lecturer will be photographer Borge B. Andersen, who will discuss Ggiclee prints, their development and their use and value as reproductions of original paintings. The event is free and open to the public.

Art Access, 339 W. Pierpont (240 South), will host artist Brian Kershisnik, who will conduct a figure drawing workshop Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The fee, which includes art supplies and a boxed lunch, is $40. (The fee can be reduced or waived if needed.) Space is limited and preregistration is required. Interested individuals should call 328-0703.

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts will host a "Special Roundtable Discussion: Collecting Utah Art" Saturday from 11 a.m.-noon. The Brigham City Museum-Gallery, 24 N. 300 West, Brigham City, will host a discussion by quilter Jodi Warner Wednesday at 2 p.m. Warner will discuss the museum's current exhibit, "Women of Biblical Proportion." The event is free and open to the public. For more information call 435-723-6769.

Connie Borup is a featured artist in the February issue of Southwest Art's 10th Annual Landscape Issue. Her "Into the Forest" discusses the artist and shows her work over the four-age spread. Gregory Stocks is also mentioned, as well as a reproduction of his painting, in the magazine's "Artists to Watch" section.
