Can someone please explain to me why Sen. Howard Stephenson and Rep. Adams feel it is a good idea to change state law to bypass Gov. Jon Huntsman in matters of nuclear and toxic waste?
Huntsman has been looking after the interests of all Utahns present and future. He has already said "no" to Envirocare's expansion. Now, Envirocare is using its considerable influence in the Legislature to rewrite the law so they can bypass the governor and make Utah the nation's nuclear and toxic-waste dump.
Isn't this typical Envirocare? A year ago the company informed us that it was going to be a good neighbor. That was last year's resolution. This is a new year. It appears its resolution this year is to make money for a handful of New York City and local investors.
