• Oct. 5 — Scott Aston found dead four days after he calls Provo 911 unsuccessfully for help

• Oct. 6 — Autopsy fails to determine cause of death

• Oct. 26 — Ogden police complete evaluation of Provo's handling of Aston's 911 call

• Nov. 29 — For the first time, Mayor Lewis Billings tells Aston's family about the 911 call

2005

• March 4 — Deseret Morning News contacts Provo about Aston case

• March 7 — During a press conference, Billings informs the public about the call

• March 24 — Provo denies Deseret Morning News GRAMA request for copy of Ogden review; Billings promises to share Ogden review with City Councilman Steve Turley

• June — Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials reviewers visit Provo to evaluate dispatch center

• July 5 — For the first time, Billings shares Ogden's review with the council

• Aug. 11 — Provo settles with Aston family for $220,000

• Aug. 15 — Provo releases Ogden review
