Snowshoe walks to aid war on breast cancer

Want to help fight breast cancer?

Try snowshoeing. For the fourth straight year, there will be 3K and 5K snowshoe walks at Mountain Dell Golf Course, a few miles up Parleys Canyon. The walks will be Jan. 28, and participants and pledges should arrive at 8 a.m. to register. The first walk will start at 10 a.m., with an optional 3K snowshoe fun run at 9:30 a.m.

The first 300 walkers will be provided with snowshoes from Tubbs Snowshoes. All proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
