OREM Alumni and community members are invited to help Utah Valley State College celebrate Homecoming 2006 this week.
The celebration kicks off with an "all-out green parade" on Tuesday at 11:15 a.m., running from the Liberal Arts building to the Sorensen Student Center.
Tuesday, the women's basketball team takes on Texas Pan-American at 7 p.m. in the McKay Events Center.
UVSC students, faculty and staff will compete in the School of Business' pinewood derby in the Woodbury Business Building concourse on Wednesday at noon.
The 26th annual Miss UVSC pageant is Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragan Theater.
UVSC's Ballroom Dance Company will showcase its award-winning choreography on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragan Theater. Also performing is UVSC's Jazz Band along with classical pianist and composer Jon Schmidt.
The men's basketball team will play North Dakota State in the McKay Events Center on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Wolverines will host Northern Colorado State in the homecoming finale on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The Homecoming Ball is Friday at 8 p.m. in the Grande Ballroom featuring a live swing band and a dessert and soft-drink bar.
