LAYTON Layton police arrested six people Thursday night in a prostitution sting.
Five women four alleged prostitutes and one driver and one male driver were arrested, but only the man is still in jail on unrelated warrants.
"We don't want to have that type of reputation and that type of image," said Layton Assistant Police Chief Craig Gibson.
He said he hopes the arrests discourage people from trying to solicit prostitution in Layton. The sting started late Thursday night, and all arrests had been made by 2 a.m. Friday, Gibson said.
