• Utah's Hogle Zoo, 2600 E. Sunnyside Ave., Salt Lake, announces a call for entries for its thirteenth annual "World of the Wild" art show. All interested Utah artists should submit artwork in person at the zoo Saturday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the EdZooCation Station. Slides may be submitted if postmarked by Wednesday, Jan. 25. • Art Access, 339 W. Pierpont, will host three 8-hour workshops for adults with and without disabilities. Each workshop will be taught by a local professional artist. This Saturday, printmaker Stefanie Dykes, will present an"Improvisational Woodcuts Workshop" from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Each workshop includes art supplies and a boxed lunch, which can be reduced or waived if needed.
