Utah's Hogle Zoo, 2600 E. Sunnyside Ave., Salt Lake, announces a call for entries for its thirteenth annual "World of the Wild" art show. All interested Utah artists should submit artwork in person at the zoo Saturday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the EdZooCation Station. Slides may be submitted if postmarked by Wednesday, Jan. 25. Art Access, 339 W. Pierpont, will host three 8-hour workshops for adults with and without disabilities. Each workshop will be taught by a local professional artist. This Saturday, printmaker Stefanie Dykes, will present an"Improvisational Woodcuts Workshop" from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Each workshop includes art supplies and a boxed lunch, which can be reduced or waived if needed. Bountiful/Davis Art Center, 745 S. Main, Bountiful, will present "An Evening with Anita Kunz," Thursday evening from 7-9. Kunz, an illustrator who has had her work used in publications and advertising all over the world, will discuss her work. For more information, call 292-0367.

The Utah Arts Festival announces a call for entries for this year's event, which takes place June 22-25 at Library Square in downtown Salt Lake. Applications are available at www.uaf.org or at festival offices, 331 W. Pierpont. For more information, call 322-2428.
