200 East may soon be Rosa Parks Blvd.

The Salt Lake City Council wants to rename 200 East, between South Temple and 600 South, as "Rosa Parks Boulevard."

The proposed change is an honorary switch, meaning "Rosa Parks Boulevard" would appear below "200 East" on street signs and the change would not affect street or mailing addresses, business listings or private business signs.

The public can comment on the change Tuesday, Jan. 17 at the City County Building, 451 S. State, room 542, 4:30-6 p.m.
